Since my toddler days, I’ve greatly appreciated sailor clothing. There was something about the bright colors, the tailored pieces, and the cute accessories that has always caught my eye. I remember every time I went out shopping with mommy I would beg her to take to me Nautica and buy me a red and blue dress or a pair of boat shoes.  Well, I guess that’s why it’s no surprise that when I stumbled over Luis Monteiro‘s Monaco Editorial for Tatler, I was speechless. With spring finally at full bloom, I’ve completely given up all my wool and cashmere for breathable cotton and silk. Though I haven’t had much time to shop before today, I’ve still been trying to keep up with the many stylish, classy, and fun trends this season has to offer. One that I’ve welcomed with wide, open arms is the floral trend. Because what says “I love spring and being girly” more than bright patterns and bouquets?

I’ve always been a huge fan of wearing pastels, especially during the spring transition season. The cute colors are enough to add a bit of spring cheer and warmth into anyone’s wardrobe. This year, I’m especially partial to experimenting with different pastel pieces (pants, dresses, scarves, etc…) and seeing as its hit hard in the runways this year, I decided to put together a few outfits for inspiration!
